If you have college or university course work, an official transcript will be needed from each college or university you attended.

S high schools are eligible for admission as EAP students.If you are a first time, first-year student who have completed the Distinguished diploma type, foundations with endorsements, or an equivalent advanced high school program, but do not meet the admissions requirements as stated in Paths 1 and 2, you are eligible for admissions through the University’s reviewed Admission Program: the START Program.The START Program offers mathematics and/or English (reading and writing) instruction during the first term of enrollment to prepare students for successful completion of college-level mathematics and English courses.Under the provisions of Texas House Bill 5 (83rd Texas Legislature, Regular Session), students with a minimum of a Foundation level of high school diploma are eligible to apply for admission to Texas public institutions for higher education.To this end, UTEP will accept applications for admission from students who have achieved a minimum Foundation level high school diploma.
